Winter Layout with Sizzix Ornaments

Hi there,

I have another winter layout for you on which I used the Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 5PK - Card Front, Ornaments. This big set comes with five different christmas ornaments: christmas balls and a great card front ornament. I used them all on my layout.

The set of the christmas ornaments comes with a card shape (or card front ornament) with three balls inside and 3 different seperate christmas balls. I used the card front ornament behind the photo, my title covered it unfortunately and three balls are hanging down from the top.

I love these ornaments and I will also create some christmas hanger for our christmas tree with these Die's. Now I have to think about my color scheme for our tree this year. ;-)

Thanks a lot for visiting me today!
Stephanie :-)

Grusskarte und kostenloses download - DIYfrollein

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

(some info in english below in red color ;-))

Just some infos in english :-)
On Do it yourself Frollein is a tutorial of a winter card and a free download digital stamp of an squirrel for you. The squirrel is a sketch I made and you can use it for your projects. (Please note the copyright, the motif is not allowed for sale in any way.) Have fun! :-)

Lieben Dank für’s Reinschauen heute und viel Spass mit dem Eichhörnchen.

New Stamps from PaperBag Studio

Hi there,

I'm so excited today because finally I can show you some projects I created using the brand new stamps designed by Rae Missigman, launched by the paperbag studio by Roben-Marie Smith.

It was such a honor to work with it and a big thank you goes to Rae who asked me if I want to join the new Designteam of the Paperbag Studio. :-)

The stamps are features a collection of hand carved stamps images by Rae she used on her art Journal pages and now YOU can also use them as rubber stamps for your projects. They are called Natural Elements and they are gorgeous for all mixed media projects, for art journaling and and and. You can find the stamps in the Paperbag Studio Shop.

1) Canvas "Flower Girl"

On my first project I used the flower stamps, the branch and some doodle stamps on the background. I stamped with acrylic paint on a paper collage. Then I added my girl and I used some more flowers on top of the painting. These flowers are stamped with Chalk Edgers from Ingvild Bolme and cut out.

2) Notebook "Be Good"

The second project is a little notebook. I used a chipboard of 15x15 inch and divided into two halves. I used the branch stamp and the arrows on the background and I decorated the covers with the flower, the branch, the feather and a leaf stamp.

3) Art Journal Page

On this page I used Rae's stamps on the background and as decoration elements. It's a page about new insights. ;-)

4) Layout "We 3"

This scrapbooking page is special to me. This photo was created after a little surgery and I am so happy that I have my two girls here by my side.
I used several stamps here just to show you that they are also great for layouts.

Here you can see the stamp set. It's so beautiful and versatile and I'm so in love with this big size. You can find the stamps in the Paperbag Studio Shop.

Thanks for visiting me! Have a nice and creative day!

Christmas Tags with awesome Sizzix Die's

Hi there,

I made more (and more) christmas tags. This kind of project is really quick and makes so much fun. I love to combine the elements of the die's and can't get enough. But here will be a lot of christmas presents and every gift will get a selfmade tag... ;-)
Also for these little beauties I used great Sizzix Die's.

To prepare the base for the tags I used the Sizzix Movers & Shapers L Die - Tag & Bookplates designed by Tim Holtz.
On some tags I used paper from 13Arts and scraps from my stash, on other I made a mixed media background with paint and/or structure paste.
I decorated all of them with the Sizzix Bigz Die - Candlelight. Oh I love this set, it's awesome (designed by Tim Holtz).
I made selfmade mixed media paper on a cardboard for the candles. This let the candles pop out of the tags.

I hope you like these tags like I do.

Christmas Card

Hello my dear blog readers,

I want to show you a christmas card I made for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® using some different adhesives that comes in the We Love Adhesive - Kit I also used some christmas ornament Die's from Sizzix UK.

The We Love Adhesive - Kit comes with a lot of several adhesives and this would be a great idea for a christmas gift to a person who loves to craft like you do. The kit provides a hole range of embellishment options, decorative shapes and a variety of basic adhesives.

I made a tutorial for you and all adhesives I used on this card are in the kit.

1 - Use your Die Cut Machine to emboss your card with a winter theme. I used an embossing folder with lovely snowflakes.
2 - Stamp your sentiment and cut it out.
3 - Prepare your decorative embellishments: die cut some ornaments, christmas balls, color a wooden star with red watercolor.
4 - Adhere your sentiment and one of the christmas balls with the 1 x E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser (26’)
5 - Adhere the other christmas ball with the 3D Foam Squares.
6 - You can cut the small 3D Foam Square to a quarterly form for such little paper cuts and embellishments.
7 - Use the Crafty Power Tape (1 roll - 13’) to fix the yarn at the back of the card
8 - Adhere another sentiment on this place.
9 - Use the 3D Foam Heart and red embossing powder for another colored highlight.

Winter Layout with Sizzix trees

Hi there,

I tried some awesome die's from Sizzix and I don't want tohide what I did with it. ;-) I used the Sizzix Triplets Die Set "Christmas trees". These cute trees are perfect for christmas cards or tags to decorate your christmas tree or window! But I want to show you an example of using them on a scrapbooking page today.

I used my Big Shot to cut some trees and embellishments like stars, circles and stripes on a selfmade mixed media paper. The Christmas Tree set comes with 14 different die's and you can combine them however you like. I let my trees simple because of the texture on it but you can decorate your trees with lots of possibillities: you can use the little circles for christmas balls, the star for the tree top and so on.... :-)

I also used the Sizzix Originals Die - Phrase "Hello" for my title of the layout. I use this phrase very often because I love it so much. ;-)

I hope you also like these cute trees and if so you can find it in the Sizzix UK shop and of course a lot of other new Die's for fall, winter and christmas. Hop over it worth it.

No, we have had no snow this year. The photo is from last year. ;-)

Thanks for visiting today! Have a great time!

Halloween layout

Hi there,

this year was the first time that we celebrated Halloween. You know in Germany this tradition is not widespread and actually I did not want to artificially bring this to life in our family. BUT... my girls saw the costumes, heared music and asked and asked and I told about halloween and finally I run to the store and bought costumes and accessories and prepared a little party with campfire and bread stock... ;-)
I just could not get around it. AND I was rewarded with happy faces and excited girls. It was worth it. ;-)

As you can see I used the Sizzix Bigz Die - Branch w/Leaves from Sizzix. The die cut in black on the side and a negative from a die cut behind the photo.

Thanks for visiting today!

Stephanie :-)
