Stamps are my new adventure... - 1 -

I’m so excited about my new stamps I designed for Whiff of Joy.

Today I'm invited by Whiff of Joy blog and I welcome all new visitors.
Stamps are my new adventure and I'm looking forward even more to draw, and then to see one or the other drawing on a stamp for you.
Usually I use stamps for mixed media backgrounds but sometimes the stamps are also my motives on my cards and are the focus. Today I made a card for you.

Card „sprinkle it with fabulous“

This is a quick and simple card using the brushes stamp from the „paper art“ collection and several colors of Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels.

I stamped the brush stamp twice on a regular white paper and let drop some colors from Glimmer Mist on the brush ends and let it run. I cuted the sheet and sewed it on two different pieces of paper. Finally I added a quote from the sentiment sticker from Heidi Swapp.

I hope I have given you some inspiration and you will give the stamps a try.

Hi dear blog reader!
It's time for another layout I made for the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3l.

1 - My first step was to sprinkle with watercolor paint on tissue paper. I have always wanted to try this for a layout.
2 - Preparing my photos and paper. I decided to use two photos with the same motiv but in different sizes.
3 - Adhering the bigger photo with the E-Z Dots Permanent refillable dispenser
4 - Sticking on the tissue paper with the E-Z Dots Permanent refillable dispenser
5 - Sticking on a piece of book page with the E-Z Dots Permanent refillable dispenser
6 - Fixing the photo with 3D Foam Squares 1/2" White - 126 pcs

7 - Blending with the Chalk Edgers from Ingvild Bolme.
8 - Adhering some Sequins by using the  DODZ - Small - 300 psc
9 - Sticking on a little embellishment with the 3D Foam Squares 1/4" White
10 - Under the sticker of the camera (Studio Calico) is a  3D Foam Squares 1/4" White  added to push it in the front. Paper rolls, sticker and a little quote are adhering with the E-Z Dots Permanent refillable dispenser
11 - Sticking on a Prima clock (from the back of a packing) with the E-Z Dots Permanent refillable dispenser
12 - Finishing the layout with my title by using some alpha stickers and a alpha "S" from Donna Downey by adhering it with the E-Z Dots Permanent refillable dispenser.

yes or no? - challenge no.25 on paperdvizhnik

There is a new challenge on paperdvizhnik challenge blog. It's time for number 25 and the inspiring theme is "yes or no". You have to use the word yes or no and the work can be anything you like. I hope you will join us.

I made a layout on a piece of cardboard and used a photo from summer. It is always a very quick decision if I aks my girls "ice cream?". And I get always the same answer "YES". :-)

Have a nice day!!

Decorative Plaster Tablets on Canvas

Hi there, it's another project for the DT of Ingvild Bolme.
I want to share some decorative plaster tablets with you. I had so much fun with every little thing and wanted see them all together, so I decided to put them on a canvas. It's now hanging on my wall in the studio.

For the tablets I applied a 5mm thick layer of plaster on a surface and cut this with a knife into approximately equal parts. Then I let it dry out for several days. I could easily break apart the tablet and I sanded the edges a little bit. I have deliberately left the surface furrowed, that makes all more interesting. Then I applied some paper scraps and Gesso, stamps, crackle paint and the Chalk Edgers from Ingvild Bolme.

As decoration I used Shabby Chic Resins and Vintage Clock's and Hands and a little bulb, I used also Chalk Edgers from Ingvild for finishin touches on the background.

I just tried to create some moods and characteristics of me.... Every plaster has it's own title, like Happiness, Miracle, Sadness, Romance, Longing, Picture of beautiful

I used the following supplies from Ingvild Bolme:

Shabby Chic Resin "Frame", "Bird", "Mask"

Thank you for visiting and have a nice day!

My own stamps...

Hi there!

I have great news. Rubber stamps designed by me just arrived and are now available in the shop of Whiff of Joy. As soon as possible I will add them to my Dawanda shop and I will try to make it possible to send them in foreign countries (outside of europe).

I'm so grateful for this possibility to share my passion for drawing with all of you and to make it possible that you can use my drawings as stamps again and agin for cards, art journal pages, layouts, canvas,... If you like and buy, don't forget to show me your art. I would love to see what you have created with the stamps!

Now I want to say thank you to Whiff of Joy and the owner Katharina Frei to give me the opportunity and for believed in me! And I want to say thank you to Nathalie Kalbach for giving me the hint and the courage to do that.

The stamps "Paper Art" and "Spirit of Nature" are all designed by me with a lot of heart. I'm so excited today and full of happiness! :-)))

Maybe you saw that canvas I made for a few month ago for the Ingvild Bolme DT. I painted a butterfly for the first time and decided to draw it again for a stamp. Now you can use this cute little stamp in the collection of "spirit of nature" to make your own art.

I will make some projects with these cuties and show you the next days. So stay tuned :-)

Thank you all my blog readers for visiting me regularly or randomly. I would not be where I am today without you!

Sweet Dreams Layout

Welcome to another project I made for the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3l.

It's a layout about my daughter, just drifting in sweet dreams.

I made a mixed media Background with Glimmer Mist and a stencil and added some pieces of different papers. The tag  and the heart garland is also created with stencils and paint sprays.
I finished the layout with some embellishments and sticker.

To adhere the papers, the tag and the ribbon I used the
E-Z Dots Permanent Dispenser, to adhere the heart-banner I used the 3D Foam Squares.

Video Tutorial for Mixed Media Background

Today I want to share a Minibook with a tutorial about the mixed media background on it and a card with the same technique. It's all made for the Ingvild Bolme Designteam.

I used the awesome Chalk Edgers from Ingvild Bolme and a sweet Shabby Chic decoration Resin designed by Ingvild. It fit's perfectly with the background. I love how it came out.

Since I have the Chalk Edgers from Ingvild Bolme I use them on almost every project. They are great to create a own background, to mix it with other mediums or to give the projects the finishing touches. So many ways to use, it is inexhaustible. You have to try it!!! I would love to buy it here in switzerland or in a germany scrapbooking store. I'm waiting impatiently....

For binding I used the idea from Janna Werner. Just sewing through all papers with sewing machine and used a ribbon to close it.

I also made a card with the same techniques. And I aditional added some washi tape for the background. As a beautiful detail you can see a Vintage Trinkets zipper from Ingvild Bolme.

Here is the video tutorial, have fun and enjoy!

Stencil I used: Spirographica TCW235 stencil from Crafters Workshop

Supplies from Ingvild Bolme I used:
