Layered Layout - The Three of Us

Hi there,
today I want to show you a layered layout I made for the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® .
It's a layout about the three girls of us and of a beautiful day we spent with a picknick at the zurich lake.

I used the E-Z Dots Permanent refillable dispenserIt's perfect for layering paper.
To adhere the selfmade frame I used the small squares of the 3D Foam Squares White - Mix.

For my Journaling I used a decorative bag and a little tag which is located up behind the photo.

Less is More

"Less is More" is the theme for September on Art Journal Journey hosted from Susi.
The community has grown enormously and it is fun to look at all the wonderful art journal pages.
And here is my entry.

Find love in simple things or Meistens findet man seine innere Balance in den einfachen Dingen des Lebens.

I used some leftovers of selfmade papers and I cut them out to vases, bottles and bowls. I'm still inspired by everything I've seen and experienced from our vacation in Italy.

I wish you a nice and creative weekend and maybe you will find some time to play at....

And another entry for Paint Party Friday.

Inspiring Woman

Hello my dear blog reader!

"Inspiring Woman" is the theme on the russian challenge blog scrap-tea (the blog with the wonderful name tea with cinnamon, hosted by Smilla).

I saw that challenge and all the inspiring projects of the DT and and I knew that I wanted to join necessarily.

I've always been fascinated by the women of the '20s.
Golden Twenties or Happy Twenties is a term, mostly used in Europe, to describe the 1920s, in which most of the continent had an economic boom. It was a bloom time of art, culture and science.
Women smoked for the first time in public. A shocking effect was important in fashion, assessoires and hairstyles. The woman of the twenties was independent, dynamic and confident. Woman went out, drove car, smoked and played sports. This new female lifestyle was part of a society that lived fast and intense, at least those who could afford it.

And this is my project.

I used some golden acrylic paint, modelling paste and stencil to create a background which is reminiscent of the twenties. I tried to describe the women with some adjective, like sophisticated, elegant, chic, brave, independently,...

books: stamp designed by me for Whiff of Joy; chipboard: wycinanka; telephone sticker: My Mind's Eye
photo: I found in the www
stencil: Arabesque from Nathalie Kalbach
alpha sticker: Authentique
And i want to share this project with the wonderful Paint Party Friday. Happy PPF!

Stencil Blog Hop by Nathalie Kalbach

Welcome to the stencil Blog Hop by Nathalie Kalbach.

Nathalie designed a lot of new stencils for Stencilgirl Products and one of them is the Arabesque stencil. This stencil is just awesome. It's perfect for art journal pages, canvas, cards and for layouts. This stencil can add a wonderful softness, a vintage feeling and great texture.

I'm so excited to got an invitation from Nat again to work with this awesome stencil...

I'm pretty sure you might find a GIVEAWAY over at Nat's Blog.  BUT...she tells me if you comment here too you will have another entry into her giveaway! As a matter of fact she will give you an entry into the giveaway for each blog you comment on--how cool is that!
Nathalie gives away one of the this Arabesque Stencils. You have five chances to win it. Leave a comment on each of the listed blogs and on my blog  and let us know how you like the projects and Nathalie will pick randomly one lucky winner. You have time to comment till till September 25, 2013 - midnight EST.

My first try with the stencil was to use it with modelling paste on a pattern paper and to cut it in different tags.

Here is my project for this blog hop.

This is a layout on a canvas panel using the stencil for the background with modelling paste. As you can see I also layered with a tag I made before.

I also used two butterfly stamps I designed for Whiff of Joy.

Please see also the projects from the other artists. Im sure it will take away your breath.

Thank's for visiting! Enjoy the Blog Hop!
